The WOEBH Is A Field Of Archan Love
The last 10 days in Florianópolis were marked by being full of offerings of Non Material Value, Bridge-building and Village making.
Modern culture does not train us to have village-making skills. Social media is everything but social, it’s a narcisistic-marketing-Gremlin-feast-machine. Many people — including new Possibility Managers — assume or think that if they post or announce something in a big group, that this is enough to get people to come to their event, or accept their invitation.
With many Beeps! the Women Of Earth have been discovering that this is not so; not in the online world, and certainly not in the offline world.
Since the beginning of January the Bridge-House Women have been training in Village Making skills, which means going through many EHPs blocking the Village Maker in them, but mostly practicing making outlandish steps out of their Boxes.
Some of these steps have been delivering the Transformational Menu, distributing postcards throughout the cafes while talking to strangers, or going to events to meet more Edgeworkers. But even after a step has been proven successful sometimes a woman would simply not touch the experiment again.
Most of the times, it was an internal survival pressure that was in the way.
In the Village Making path it was important time and time again to re-contextualize the experiment, so that even after the EHPs, the step could be done from the Woman’s natural internal motivation (where authentic Responsibility comes from) to create that experiment, event, or meeting.
When people live under constant survival pressure, it is important to create an environment of both radical Clarity and vibrant Celebration. When some of Women would come back from their Village Making experiment and share with the rest of the group their success, there was only ecstatic celebration and encouragement. Then, when it was clear that the follow up steps were not being made for the village to continue to grow (for example the emails were not collected, or the emails were lost, or the people were not invited to the next event and it’s the day of the next WOEBH event), then a clear X on the map was provided, with no sugaring.
After 2 and a half months on the Island and many many beeps, many postcards left to share, many events not followed through, we had a week so full of bridge-building with women outside the WOEBH. The circle comes alive in Brazil!
We had 333 spaces with women from the circle coming each morning, we held an honest and vulnerable space at Casa Orum to confess what Thoughtware brings us straight into the marshmallow zone of Patriarchy with Anne-Chloé, we had another free Emotional Healing Party, and at the last Possibility Team we were 20 women!
Today, as Lisa, Danielle, Sónia and I (Vera) are driving to the Women Of Earth Trainings (Expand The Box + Women Of Earth Lab) one of the Women told me today that she is looking forward to starting from zero. I asked what did she mean, and she answered that now she is getting the hang of what it is like to create a village, and that because she only started to get a feel for it after these two months, she is looking forward to starting from the get go.
Me too. And soon we are going to have a great opportunity for that in the US.
Almost every Woman in the Bridge-House shared that their experience in the WOEBH has been mainly one of Love. It does not surprise me that Women sourcing Archiarchy naturally create a field of irresistible Love. Love that calls out the Being and the Sourceress to play. Love that heals childhood wounds. Love that holds the sharpest of swords. Love that listens without agenda. Love that stays in silence until it’s its line on the script to speak up. Love that shouts ‘wake up!’ to each other. Love that cleans the gutter. Love that cleans up the mess. Love that builds a naturally generous Bridge to other Women. And to other Men too.
